A Quick Financial Update
May was a terrible month for savings and June is shaping up to be the same. I moved to a new apartment about 10 days ago, which means real estate fees, security deposit and moving fees in general. It really impacted my budget. The curtains I had in my old apartment are too small for my new windows, so I need to buy new ones (and I truly DO need them, since it’s too bright in the mornings and I can’t sleep once the sun comes up). And my dog was sick last month and ended up costing me quite a bit to get him through tests and then treatment (he’s ok now). So, it’s like they say… when it rains it pours. I’m hoping June would be better. There’s a chance I’ll be picking up some extra work just for the month, which means I’ll hopefully be able to save again once July rolls around.
Anybody else having trouble catching up during the summer?
